Stoner chasing back-to-back victories
For all the latest news from the 2008 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island, keep your browser open on the MotoRacing section of BikePoint. We're already on location at the picturesque circuit as the build-up continues for Casey Stoner's attempt to make it back-to-back victories in the Aussie GP - which hasn't been done by a local since Wayne Gardner way back in 1989-1990.
Practice and qualifying for the three world championship classes will be held tomorrow, followed by the battle for final grid positions on Saturday.
On Sunday, the 125 GP race will commence at 1.00pm, followed by the 250s at 2:15pm and the 27-lap MotoGP event at 4:00pm. There will also be 11 national-level support races at the GP, starting from Friday.
